Shocking, no? Well, recently Mr. Patel visited the Dominican and he must have liked what he found, since he returned with a tasty new handmade. Rocky has worked with these factories before, but always the Honduras one. They make great cigars, but the Dominican factory is really the flagship one, and this is Rocky’s first venture with the main operation.

Maybe you’re familiar with this factory’s work — in addition to making the uber-popular Cohiba line, General Cigars and Rocky have worked together on the 90+ rated Rocky Patel Vintage line in the past. Dark Dominican comes from a heralded past to say the least, and once you get one of these weighty Dominican puros in your hand you’ll be more than impressed. Medium-bodied, Dark Dominican delivers leather, nuts, and a slightly sweet cedar, crafting a Dominican selection you can’t miss.
